In world war 2, the Nazis expanded their influence all over Europe by using force. When Hitler invaded Poland in September 1939, France and Britain declared war on Germany. One year later the Nazi conquered France and then the Nazi set their sights on taking Britain. In 1941 the United states created the lend lease act to help the Britain defend themselves by giving them supplies.
