Communist leaders of the Korean War were Kim II-Sung (April 15, 1912 - July 8, 1994) who was the Prime Minister of the Democratic People's Republic of North Korea, which was stated before. Marshal Peng Dehuai (October 24,1898 - November 29,1974) was the commander of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army in Korea. He was an army officer for the 43 years. Later he was the commander of the guerrilla forces behind Japanese backs. Once the war ended Dehuai was Defense Minister until he gotten arrested during the Cultural Revolution in the 1960's. Once he was released he was on house arrest and tortured. Sometime he was even publicly beaten at rallies that were designed to just humiliate him. Another leader was Joseph Stalin ( December 18,1878 - March 5,1953) was a General of the Soviets Union's Communists Party from the years of 1922 to 1953. He was also Soviet Premier from 1941 to 1953. Joseph was really reluctant to war with the U.S. by supporting North Korea's Invasion on South Korea.
