During the interwar years, Harding was a republican president from 1921 until he suddenly died in 1923. During his time in office he created the Washington Naval Treaty, which set a carrying capacity limit of cargo ships, tonnage, into effect on the signers and also restricted the military equipment and weapons size and expansion of naval facilities.

Calvin Coolidge:

During the interwar years, Coolidge was a republican president from 1923 until 1929. During his time in office he constructed an intervention in Nicaragua. This allowed the Untied States to help the country reconstruct its canal. They also helped the country build a republic government.
