Philippine - American War / Philippine Revolution (1896-1898)
Overview: The Philippines is an Asian Country in the
Western Pacific that is known for it's waterfront
promenade. The Philippine Revolution was fought
between the Philippines and Spain. The war ended it
Filipino victory and they gained their independence in
1898. February 4th 1899, the fight broke out between
the Filipino and American forces and that lasted three
years. Between the two, over 200,000 people were
dead; either civilians or soldiers.
