How The U.S. Was Affected

Many countries were affected during World War 1. One of the main countries that was affected was The United States. The U.S. had a major issue with Europe but that was not the only country they fought. The U.S. fought countries all around the world. This war was a four year battle that began around July 28, 1914 and ended around November 1, 1918. The United States joined the WW1 on April 6, 1917 along with Triple Entente Powers that were fighting against the Central Powers. The allies of the U.S. are Britain, France, and Russia. It was estimated that nearly eight million people lost their lives due to this war. The total cost of WW1 for the United States was more than thirty billion dollars.
