Kim Il-Sung: North Korea's Eternal President, and the worlds only dead sovereign. He was born on March 15, 1912 in a small mountain top village to a lower middle class Presbyterian family. Little else is known about his early life though, and what is often conflicts. What is known is that he was the one to decide to invade South Korea, it was not a soviet idea. During the Korean war, he lead the North Korean military.

Douglas MacArthur: Born in 1880 in Little Rock Arkansas to a military family, it should be no surprise that he became a high ranking general. When told to pick a general for UN forces in Korea, MacArthur was chosen unanimously. He organized a highly effective amphibious invasion, pushing the North Koreans up to the chinese border. soon after the chinese pushed the UN forces back though, he was removed from command.
