This organization helped to keep some places out of war and to maintain peace in the world. After some time and more conflict, the League of Nations began to influence the world in a negative way. The league ended up helping the beginning of World War II. In 1931, Japan went through a depression and the League of Nations began to tell other countries to stop trading with them.
