Organization of the League

The League of Nations was organized in Geneva, Switzerland because Switzerland was neutral location which allowed everyone to be safe. The league of nations included small and big nations. There were 42 Nations in the which joined the League of Nations because they wanted peace around the world. During that period of time the World War 1 had just came to an end, but there was still a lot of violence happening in the world. The League at the beginning did not include United States, Germany, and Russia. Germany was not invited because it was blamed for the first World War. Russia was not included because it had a communist government. United States did not want to join because it did not want to be in European political affairs.
