Latin America 1800s: Introduction
The US had a relationship with Latin America back in the 1890s. The US protected smaller countries like Puerto Rico, Guam, Philippines, Dominican Republic, etc. Anyone/Country who comes in contact with or interferes with any of the Latin American counties will be viewed as an act of hostility towards the US. No other countries will be able to mess with the Americas without messing with the US. This is how the US deals with other countries (Foreign Policy).
