U.S. Impact

The impact of the war on the U.S. was greater than the impact on Britain. The war made the Federalist Party unconstitutional which was pointed out as unpatriotic for the antiwar viewpoint. This war gave the United States the opportunity to gain a great amount of respect from resisting the British Empire and the gave the soldiers high morals because they were able to fight the highest military powers of the world and survived to the end giving them a feeling of patriotism. More on the impact of the war of 1812 the conflict created more tension between the Norther and Southern and the trade between Britain and U.S. decreased greatly in the exports and imports of products.
