Although the increase in volume slowed at the end of last year, it seems to have picked up a bit more recently - cabin fever? We continue to see more likes on our FP FB page and more member requests in the Folk Project group, which I ascribe to our virtual concert activity. When someone likes a concert event posting, I invite them to like the FB Folk Project page.
Gary Pratt and I continue to work with performers to coordinate the bi-weekly Stayaway live stream events, now almost exclusively from our Facebook page. We do a live stream test before every concert, to minimize technical difficulties during the performances, but sometimes Father Internet and Mother Earth combine to interrupt a live broadcast despite our pre-vetting, due to circumstances beyond our control.

YouTube Channel Report for the month ending January 29, 2021
• We have 232 subscribers as of the end of this month. That’s a gain of 6 subscribers in the last month.
• The channel got 227 views, which is typical for a month.
• Watch time was 43.8 hours. (About the same as usual.)
• We had nine views of old shows in the last 48 hours. All of those were views of shows featuring my interviews and new songs from various artists.
• Even though I have reduced the number of shows per month, our overall statistics have remained stable.
Our most-watched shows are those containing new interviews and performances. As we discussed in last month’s meeting, we explore using the MUF facilities as a venue to record new programs for use by the artists and FPTV. I will include more on this subject later in this report.
The final show for January features Stephen Benson. It includes music and a lengthy interview. I am working toward more shows with new music and interviews as we move forward in 2021.
