A very good month for the Minstrel in September. Average paid attendance was 115 for the regular shows, and 93.5 including the Open Stage. We ran a healty $836 profit for the month, and we're $4535 in the black for the past 12 months not including the Paxton show. ($6395 if we do include the Paxton show.) The big surprise hit of the month was 17 year old Matt Arons, who opened for Tom Chapin. The crowd was so enthusiastic that it was hard not give Matt an encore, but for the fact that it would have eaten into Tom's stage time.
We ran the Open Stage in the Terrace Room. It went well and felt good. We'll be experimenting with different arrangements of the room over the next few Open Stages to come up with the best layout.
