Newsletter Committee Report 2021-09

Things are proceeding as usual with the invaluable help of Kathi Caccavale, Pat Brangs, Liz Pagan, Bill Henderson, and Gary Pratt.

I have begun moving the newsletter format back to what it was before the pandemic, where possible. This means that the original Troubadour page returned this past month as the venue returned to MUF. The Swingin' Tern page returned to its original format momentarily with that venue's resumption of its activities, but the following month it was again replaced with a suspension notice as Swinging' Tern decided to wait before returning to full-time operation.

One new element in the newsletter is the Streaming Tuesdays page similar to the Troubadour's but listing the Tuesday streaming shows. Its design may be revised as its effectiveness is evaluated.

The Troubadour flyer should make its reappearance this month on the literature table, based on the newsletter page, and a Streaming Tuesdays flyer may make its appearance as well.

The calendar listing no longer separates the Stayaway events marked in red text from the Folk Project events in green. All FP events are shown in green text now.

Thanks,

George Otto
