Hi All,
I want to thank everyone for getting the submissions in to Liz on time this month. I appreciate the hard work, co-operation and teamwork that you have all put forth for the good of our Folk Project. And I especially appreciate Liz for all her hard work and dedication. I know, everyone will continue to expend their energies in an effort to get everything to Liz on time for the November Newsletter, and I thank you all in advance for that. This month, we printed 400 copies of the newsletter. Our Printed Newsletters did get out on time; and the electronic Newsletters were out on time. I have been advised by one of our board members the Printed Newsletters were received on time. I thank her for the feedback. We did well for printing costs this month. With the discounts, we were able to lower the printing costs from $380.92 to $256.34 for a savings of $124.58. The Staples total cost was $256.34. The postage costs came to only $67.50 for 150 Stamps(I had extra stamps from prior months) . So our newsletter costs this month were $256.34 from Staples and $67.50 from the Post Office for a low total of $323.84 for this month.
I regret I am unable to attend the Board of Director’s meeting tonight; however, I trust our esteemed president will read this report in my absence. October newsletters will be made available at The Festival; and I will bring the Minstrel Supply next Friday.
All the best
Carl
