I want to thank everyone for getting the submissions in to Liz on time this month. . I appreciate the hard work, co-operation and teamwork that you have all put forth for the good of our Folk Project. And I especially appreciate Liz for all her hard work and dedication. I know, everyone will continue to expend their energies in an effort to get everything to Liz on time for the May Newsletter, and I thank you all in advance for that. This Month, we printed 400 copies of the newsletter. We mailed out 260 newsletters, including ten we sent to Scott for new membership, and the ten we sent to Morris Council of the Arts.
We did well for printing costs this month. With the discounts, we were able to lower the printing costs from $348.00 to $234.41 for a savings of $113.59. I had additional costs from Staples for Labels, Seals, and Ink at an additional cost of $113.96; which brought the Staples total cost to $348.37. The postage costs came to $135.00 for 300 Stamps. So our newsletter costs this month were $348.37 from Staples and $135.00 from the Post Office for a total of $483.37 for this month.
I will bring a supply of April Newsletters to the meeting tonight and to the Minstrel this Friday.
