ANNUAL REPORT
Documenting our Place in NJ History
Due to Covid, collecting by the Archives Committee has been very limited this year. Rutgers University Special Collections department is still closed to in-person visits and faculty and staff have been working remotely, without access to physical materials. Therefore, I've been unable to donate materials to our existing collection at Rutgers nor to take in more from donors, due to the size of my apartment.
What I have been able to accomplish: I've typed up the list of box contents that I created at Rutgers prior to Covid. I've also organized the materials that have already been donated to me in my home.
Meanwhile, I implore everyone with Folk Project records and photos to hang onto them. If you need to get rid of materials, please call me to discuss whether they would be appropriate for our collection. Especially if you are moving or know someone who has passed on, please let me know. This year, I received a box of Special Concerts records from Pam Robinson after she resigned her position. Thank you, Pam!
