Subject: Treasurer's Report

Greetings, projectiles -

The usual report is attached, and I assume it is self-explanatory. Let me know if you have questions.

We have $9,700 in Checking, $18,660 in the Money Market account and $280 in Petty Cash. Close observers may notice that cash number is higher, and that's because Swingin' Tern has boosted its cash-on-hand kitty by $50. And there's another $132,000 or so in the Vanguard account.

I have taken over the theoretical management of this fund, in that I am now getting the statements and have a login at the Vanguard website. I'm not 100% solid on how it works, though, so I'll need to talk to Andy Koenig before I can really answer questions about it.

We show Net Operating Income of toughly $8,600 here, but about $6,300 of that represents UkeFest admissions. This is a Getaway kind of scenario, in which the admissions come in over a period of months, but the expenses don't go out until the event itself. That means we're really ahead by something like $2,300 for the first half.

That's it, I think.

Regards,

Chris
