I beg forgiveness and throw myself on the mercy of the Board…
In order of appearance:
The Li’l Rev workshops in February were a huge success, though revenue neutral by design.
The Sycamore Slough String Band concert turned a meager profit of $93.77
Uke New Jersey Too! was, by all accounts, an excellent event. Unfortunately, we fell short on break-even attendance by about 27 admissions. That translates to a substantial loss of $1956.36.
The Jonathan Edwards/Lucy Kaplansky concert likewise fell about 23 short of break-even with a net loss of $711.78.
While all of our ventures were extremely well received by the attendees, volunteers and, interestingly, the press I ended up losing a grand total of $2360.37 of The Folk Project’s money this year. we have analyzed everything and have drawn some conclusions to turn things around, unless of course I’m run out of town on a rail.
Sorry,
Scooter
