July was a bursty month for the web team, with a few concentrated bouts of activity. We made updates to the Getaway section of the site and to the carousel on the home page, which has many events competing for prime real estate. We made minor updates for Swingin' Tern.
Stats from Google AdWords and Analytics for the calendar month of July
User sessions - 2951 for an average of 95.2 per day representing a 1.0% increase over the previous report. Fewest (52) on July 16, most (230) on July 21.
Total number of unique Users - 2067, a 2.1% increase over the previous report. Returning users accounted for 43.4% of all sessions.
Total page views - 6116, up 3.1% over the previous report, for an average of 2.1 pages per session
Average session duration - 1 minute 27 seconds. This is down by 5.4% over the previous month.
Google AdWords traffic accounted for 364 sessions, or 12.3% of the total.
Notable numbers of references to us from other sites:tomchapin.com (93 sessions) and 17 each from contradancelinks.com and keelaghan.com
We reached users in 37 countries on 5 continents.
Our most frequently visited pages were the home page (1633 pageviews), the Minstrel calendar page (1272) and the main Getaway page (416). The following also got at least 100 page views for the month: the Swingin' Tern page, the Concert Window page, the performers directory page and the main Special Concerts page.
