Newsletter Committee Report 2014-04

Things are proceeding apace with the usual help from Pat Brangs, Nancy Kelner, Bill Henderson, Liz Pagan, Mike Agranoff, and Eddie Roffman.

Leigh Walker sent me some updates to correct information about the Princeton-area dances that had changed recently.

A special Spring Acoustic Getaway flyer was added to the newsletter as a separate font-and-back page and stapled in the middle.

I got a full-page ad from MUF for a Jewelry and Craft show in May, but didn’t have the space to use it. Kathleen Caccavale has sent me a 1/2 page version that I can use in the next issue.

Unfortunately, as I was editing the newsletter I received word that my uncle had died. I drove down to Virginia to pick up my Mother and then drove her out to Ohio for the funeral and back again. This took 5 days out of my schedule, so the newsletter was sent out a little later than usual.

On the good-news front, I got an email from Staphanie Ledgin saying

Stunning, elegant newsletter. Kudos.

I don’t think it’s true. I’m just trying to rise to the same high standard set by Liz for all those years, but it’s nice to hear.
