Swingin' Tern Report

The Swingin' Tern report for May 5:

On April 4, regional favorites Sharon Perry and Tempest performed to an appreciative group of dancers. On April 18, Steve White called to Fingerplay. Both Steve and Fingerplay are well known to regular Swingin'

Tern dancers, and their appeal made the dance a success.

For the month, the dances were $108 to the plus side. A good turnaround since last November--every subsequent dance but the bad-weather anniversary dance has been a financial benefit.

The better results are due to extra contributions from the dancers, a larger attendance by beginners and good luck.

The summer dances are often financial losers. This summer at least one is being sponsored by a dancer, which is an auspicious sign.
