The VDEx continues to be a wonderful evening.
Of particular note was the many first-time and talented singers joining us through the Getaway and the Minstrel audience.
Additional decorations provided by new volunteer Bob Cole added panache and joy to the evening.
The main problem was the many disappointed members closed out.
The special $12 price was successful, and universally accepted.
Our intial goal was $300 profit.
We made approximately $1,000 profit, after expenses (including rent).
Thanks to the staff, MCs Gerry and Olga, the musicians, and co-planners Jean Scully, Elizabeth Lachowicz and Barbara Moo.

The February Evening of Music was scheduled for February 14th but was postponed due to a snow storm earlier in the evening. It ultimately took place on Sunday, February 15th in the afternoon at the home of Christine and Steve Humphreys. It was a nice gathering and several guests took Christine up on her offer of courtesy portraits taken in her home photography studio. Thanks goes out to Mike Agranoff, Lori Falco and Pam Robinson for quickly and successfully getting the rescheduling word out on the Folk Project website, the member mailing list and Facebook, respectively. The hosts reported that no one came to the house on the originally scheduled Saturday night in the snow.
The February Bonus Evening was held on February 28th. I was not able to attend but nothing unusual was reported to me.
The March evening of Music will be held at the Home of Kathy Haynie in Skillman, NJ on March 14th.
