Newsletter Annual Report 2021
During the course of this year, the newsletter has been keeping track in the calendar section of all our neighboring venues that have been closed due to the pandemic by including them in our listings but marking them as CLOSED. Thankfully, most of them have returned to presenting in-person shows once again and the newsletter is showing the newly book performers.
Also, over the course of the year, our own streaming Stayaway shows have been listed but in a separate red color, to indicate their possibly temporary status. Now that we are returning to a normal performance schedule once again, all the FP listings are now being displayed in the usual green color, including all the streaming shows that we will be continuing.
The Troubadour Flyer is now being issued as before, listing a month's worth of shows on a single sheet. Also, the Streaming Tuesdays activity is getting its own flyer in a similar style. Both flyers are included in the newsletter as well as being released in a standalone form on the literature table at the Troubadour.
An analysis of the newsletter mailings and enewsletter openings conducted last month shows that the newsletters we send out are looked at by most FP members and this remains an effective means of communicating our activities and objectives to our membership.
