Subject: Acoustic Getaway Committee Report to Board - July 2018

Acoustic Getaway Report to Board:

The committee is still in discussion with Stony Point Conference Center about the 2019 calendar year.

Planning for the Fall Getaway is underway.

Registration for the Fall Getaway will be launched on July 4th as scheduled.

New Folk Project member Gary Pratt has joined the Getaway committee.

We expect him to be a tremendous asset for the Project and the Getaway.

Gary was a tech support manager for executive HR at AT&T, he spent seven years on the board of directors of the Penguin Repertoire Theatre, and he spent ten years on the board of directors and as head fundraiser for the Stony Point Conference Center.
