Subject: Swingin' Tern April report
The Swingin' Tern report for April 2018:
An excellent month in all ways.
On April 7, we celebrated the birthdays of Ron Lichtman and Lucy Malka. At the dance, Diane Hartzell called to Strumbow Squeezeblow. We had two full lines of dancers, which included several beginners. In honor of their birthdays, Ron and Lucy covered all the overhead of the dance and brought some delicious cake.
On April 21, Carl Levine called to Fingerplay. It was another good dance, and as was true for the previous dance, the performers are favorites of longer-term Swingin' Tern dancers.
Starting with the April 7 dance, the adult admission fee was increased $2 to $12. The student admission fee continues at $5.
The financial gain for the month was $722, mostly due to the support of Ron and Lucy. It also reflected better attendance for the second consecutive month.
