ANNUAL REPORT
Twenty Sixteen has been a jamming good year! Our not-so-little
organization of music lovers ran 10 very successful Evenings of Music this
past year and one is still left which is sure to follow suit. The average
attendance at Evenings of Music was 26. Robust thanks goes out to 2016
team of Evening of Music hosts:
Margaret Crowl
Brian Hudson and Amy Livingston
Mark and Robin Schaffer
Tim Weinrich and Nancy Beyer
Steve and Christine Humphreys
Christine and Mike Del Vecchio (lovely couple if I do say so myself)
Kathy Haynie
Pamela Zave and Yolanda Fundora
Dave Kleiner and Liz Pagan
Howard Goldman
It was particularly exciting to welcome two new homes into our Evening of
Music repertoire and that special shout out goes to Pamela and Yolanda as
well as Howie.
It seems like our splashing July 4th Picnic just happened because the good
memories are so fresh in my mind! Let's raise the roof for those generous
folks who helped make it all happen (including a mad dash to pick up and
secure the yard when a sudden and heavy rainstorm surprised us around 9:00
PM) ...

We had a wonderful time celebrating at the Roffman house and a very happy
Hip Hip Hooray goes out to them for sharing their home once again. We
must now scout out a new location for this party in 2017. As much fun as
a pool can be on such an occasion, I do not believe that has to be a deal
breaker on a new location ... after all it's more a music party than a
pool party. Also, as much as a good flame broil adds to the day, our
options could expand exponentially if we let go of the barbeque
requirement as well, perhaps making an entre plan of store bought sub
sandwiches or some similar fare. To be continued ...
It has been my pleasure and honor to help bring about another year of
eating, drinking and making merry music. I am thrilled to continue on in
that position for 2017. On behalf of the Folk Project Event Hosting
Committee, I wish all the members of the Folk Project the most wonderful
time this holiday season and beyond!
MONTHLY REPORT
November brought us a brand new location for Evenings of Music at Howard
Goldman's condo in Denville. The two levels made for good song circle
options without the bleed I had previously feared.
December's Evening of Music coming up will be held at the Randolph home of
Steve and Christine Humphreys.
