Electronic Communications

The Electronics Communications Committee administers functions such as mass emails, electronic ticket purchases for many of our events, and occasional surveys. To do this we use a software program called Constant Contact. While my committee serves as the administrators for Constant Contact, many Folk Project members are using our Constant Contact account on a regular basis.

We have 4127 contacts in our database, up from 4105 last month.

In December we sent out our regular emails including the Minstrel-Gram, which lists the upcoming shows at the Minstrel, notice of the Holiday MUF Benefit concert, info about the upcoming Spring Getaway and an alert to members that the electronic version of the January newsletter was available. We also regularly send out reminders to folks that their membership is expiring and it's time to renew. This past month we also sent an advisory that the start time for the December Evening of Music/Holiday Party was incorrect in the newsletter.

As I mentioned last month, we had a problem back in September where about 100 people were added to all of our email lists. People in this group need to be removed from the lists that they did not subscribe to. I am working to correct the situation. It's still not back to normal but I am making progress.
