We have 3581 active contacts, up from 3546 last month. Our open and
click rates continue to be above average for non-profit arts
organizations. I've attached a spreadsheet showing our quarterly
statistics.
In addition to our usual emails, this past month we sent out notices
about the Minstrel cancellation on 9/11 and about the Bloomfield
Eco-Fest. We also sent out a call for volunteers for the Eco-Fest to the
Minstrel volunteer list.
I am working with Mark on a prototype for adding other FP events to the
weekly Minstrel-Gram.
We are receiving a steadily increasing number of requests to send out
emails to our Membership lists to supplement information that is
supplied in the newsletter -- to correct mistakes in the newsletter or
advise people about events that didn't make it into the newsletter. I
feel there has to be a balance between getting our members the
information they need and inundating them with email. Because of this, I
sometimes turn down requests to send out additional emails to the
membership. I'm currently dealing with each request on an individual
basis, but I'd like to develop some guidelines. I welcome your input on
how to best handle these situations.
