Subject: Treasurer's Report - June 2015
Greetings, projectiles -
We are now through the first half of 2015, and as you can see from the attached P&L we have earned about $5,500 since December. Note that the Operating Income line for Special Concerts is somewhat overstated, since it includes pre-sale admissions revenue from both Calan and Uke-NJ3 but does not include any offsetting expenses. I decided the simplest way to get the Vanguard monies into the Getaway's books (without double-counting the income) was by creating an allocation credit to offset some of the expenses. So barring any late-breaking expense reports, the correct net income for the Spring Getaway is shown here: $2,649.
Barrett had also suggested that it would be helpful to visualize this information, so I'm adding a graph this month. I probably won't do that every month (unless there's an overwhelming demand for it), but perhaps at the end of each quarter. Also note that in the graph, I've filtered out that pre-sale Concerts revenue.
Our cash on hand as of June 30 included $3,171 in checking, $34,107 in the Money Market account and $230 in the cash boxes for Minstrel and Swingin' Tern.
As per the usual, I will print a copy of this report and graph for reference during the meeting, but I will not print copies for distribution. So if you want hard copy at the meeting, please print and bring it along with you.
Questions and comments are welcome.
Regards,
Chris
