We taped two fine shows in February:
534) 2/2/12 Michael Prysock - singer-songwriter-fourth generation musician deeply affected by life in rural Arkansas, and through his music, he tells achingly true tales of the influences of his family and the brotherhood of friends that helped raise him; a spirited one-man-band, providing vocals, guitar & harmonica to a raw soundtrack of small-town life. www.MichaelPrysock.com
535) 2/2/12 Mark D. Conklin - singer/songwriter from New Jersey who describes himself “Like Springsteen…only funnier…but not NEARLY as cool!” His music is truly American, blending his background in classic rock and blues with the craft of Nashville songwriting http://www.markdconklin.com
Upcoming:
536) 3/14/12 Beau Borrero & His Mom - At an early age, Beau was exposed to all kinds of music and theatre. His grandparents performed in musicals on Broadway in the 1930′s, and his mother is an actress and folksinger. Beau’s mother was by far his biggest musical influence, and things have come full circle, as he and his mother now hit the road together as an acoustic duo http://www.beauborrero.com .
537) 3/14/12 Karen Kamenetsky - has been singing other people’s songs for decades, but only recently began writing her own. In 2010 she fulfilled a long-time desire to create a tribute to her sister’s life with a song. That song opened the floodgates and Karen has been writing haunting melodies and lyrics of action and inspiration ever since. http://www.reverbnation.com/karenkamenetsky
