Our September taping was fun, but when I looked at the tapes there was no video, just audio. Bummer!
We have not identified a place or a way to keep taping. Sandie and I met the guy who runs Parsippany's Video-on-the-Go. He is the only director allowed and their rules only allows shows taped there to be aired in Parsippany, though they would allow us to link to their youtube page.
Morristown High has a full 3 camera set-up in their studio, but their policy doesn't allow any outside organizations to use it. I can possibly get an exception through the Board of Ed, but before wasting any time on that unlikely outcome, I think I will see if I can get a look at the studio to see if it meets our needs.
I don't think Sandie is having any luck with the second-hand mobile studio she thought we might be able to buy.
Mendham TV would be glad to let us use their studio and store our scenery there, but we'd have to create a control room and bring in equipment. They are set up for a one camera shoot only. There is a space that looks like it would work as a control room if we cleared the junk out of it.
What kind of a budget, if any, would the FP Board feel comfortable spending on video studio equipment?
