A lackluster month for the Minstrel in October. Average paid attendance of only 65, and we had to dip into FP funds twice to make performers' guarantee for a total of $88. The only reason we were $79 in the black for the month was that we were credited $334 rent for the cancelled Finest Kind show in September. (On the other hand, last month's loss of $556 would have only been $222 without the rent for that night.) Our average paid attendance over the past 12 months has been 85.9 for regular shows, or 74.9 including Open Stages.
We replaced the broken toolbox in our storage container. And I corrected a problem with the Desk Schedule that the Head Staffs use for performer information for the evening's show which omitted the Opening Act's fee from the data shown.
New bookings since last month:
· Feb. 27, 2015: Sam Edelston opening for Cricket Tell the Weather
· June 26, 2015: Toby Walker (This is the first booking I've made for the time period when we will be out of MUF for their renovations.)
Highlights for November
· At the risk of tooting my own horn, I think my CD Release Concert on November 28 will be well attended and a very good show.
