Peggy Karr reported that Izzy, one of her two dogs has cancer and is going to pass away soon and her other dog, Cappy,will be very lonely, so she is going to Pennsylvania to pick up a new dog, Bea. 

Paul Fisher and his wife Gloria, went up to Old Songs and had a good time there.  He reported that attendance was little less than before the pandemic and a little more gray,  but there were some really good performer and a lot of folk project and other friends.

Mark Schaffer caught Covid in Jerusalem and had to delay his return by almost a week. He went there with his brother's family and had a nice 5 days  but had to delay his return by almost a week because to avoid spreading Covid on the plane so he had to wait 10 full days before he came back. He said it was pretty miserable to be that far away from home but his brother, sister-in-law their 2 kids did their best to make it good.  Additionally Robin played hooky from work and they went down to Asbury Park and spent some time on the beach. They  stopped off at a place tin Tom's River called Shut Up and Eat that he thought was great and had an expansive menu. He recommended that if you are in the area, to go there.

Loretta Brooks  saw  the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra perform outside, and also saw the Bill Hall/Kathy Moser show which she thought was amazing. She also went down to Princeton and saw a production at Summer Stock at Princeton called Ghost Quartet which had a cast of amazing young people, all multi-instrumentalists and incredibly good voices. She remarked that it had kind of an eerie set. the play was based on the song "The Wind and the Rain". She also played fiddle and recorder in Princeton Country Dancer Pickup Band last month.

Sam Edelston was happy to report that his son Greg and fiancee Jill are getting married on July 15 in Colorado. 

Elizabeth Lachowicz got to spend time with her niece who lives in Wilmington, Delaware who was rowing in the Carnegie Lake Regatta. Additionally, she was awarded a challenge coin from her organization at work. She felt it was nice to get a little bit of recognition from CFMA. She is also preparing for her annual conference, which, because it came 2 months later than usual, she's only going to have 10 months to prepare for. She will be delivering a couple of sessions. She reported that working with some really beautiful brilliant people and it's such an honor and a privilege to be able to be around people who not only shine with intelligence but the generosity to share expertise and pitch in when things need to get done.
