Subject: April report re obit. notices
Dear Board:
Unfortunately, we've had our first Project passing since we began the notification list, with the sad loss of Robin Siegel Roffman.
A surprisingly small number of people - 7 - signed up for the notification list. Those people were notified, as a bcc to a notice to the Board, that was sent out on the night that I received word. So, for the few people who asked to be included, the system seems to have worked.
I should also note that several other people notified people informally, as we would expect and hope.
The project certainly seems worth continuing.
Submitted in the spirit of the Project.
Jay
