As of May 3rd
This past weekend several Folk Project Members played music for Audubon May Day at the Sherman-Hoffman Sanctuary in Bernardsville. The event was a great success with over 1000 people attending over the 2 days. The weather was hot and the music was great.
Circle Round the Sun played Saturday 10 AM - 1 PM
Tom Picard played Saturday 1 PM - 4 PM
Sunday, Roia Rafyian, Andrew Dunn, and Kathy Moser mixed it up, taking turns during the whole 10 AM - 4 PM slot. This was my first time hearing most of the performers and I had such a good time. We even had a surprise performer when Brad Pryor showed up at 3 PM, although it was mostly a surprise to Brad.
We also had a table with a Folk Project stand-up poster, compliments of Evelyn Mauer and a system for displaying fliers compliments of Evelyn and Liz Lachowitz. Thanks to them I did not have to reinvent any wheels. They gave me a sack with clips, giant rubber bands, markers, pens, glue, etc. Several people stopped by and took fliers and seemed very interested.
Our next big event is Wayne Day.
