Newsletter Committee Report 2020-10

Things are proceeding as usual with the invaluable help of Kathi Caccavale, Pat Brangs, Liz Pagan, Bill Henderson, and Gary Pratt.

Unfortunately, my computer's video board failed while producing the October newsletter, which took my computer down completely. I took it to my local Macintosh repair shop, but it needed about two weeks to get the board replaced because the computer was over 10 years old and beyond the usual support interval for Apple computers.

Thankfully, I was able to process most of the textual elements of the newsletter on my laptop, and when my regular computer was returned was able to finish up the newsletter layout and send it out only a week late.

I alerted the membership to the problem via email, and the enewsletter was released two days before the end of the month. Unfortunately, the paper version of the newsletter was not delivered until October 5th.

Many thanks to my crew for being able to work with a shifting schedule.
