New Jersey Uke Fest - Report to the Board - 2019, February

New Jersey Uke Fest 2019

Dates: Friday August 23 thru Sunday August 25, 2019

Location: Ukrainian American Cultural Center of New Jersey and the Morristown Green

Venue booked.

Working on menu for the meals.

I have handshake agreements with most of my performers, contracts are in the works. The last performer has been contacted, awaiting reply.

I curretly have 3 additional instructors and I am working on getting 2 more to round out our workshop offerings to 20.

Have verbal agreements with Shubb and DR Strings to again be sponsors and also send product for consignment.

Working with the non-profit, Ukulele Kids Club to see how we can offer discounted tickets.

Working on ways to offer more discounted volunteer staff tickets to those who need financial assistance in order to attend the NJUF.

The prices are remaining the same from 2018, however we have decided not to offer “no lunch” discounts or “no hard copy” workshop discounts, most folks wanted both. This will help streamline our registration process.

We will continue to offer FP membership via our registration process as the non-discounted rate, as we no longer have the Morris Arts grant to help cover those costs.

Will offer “Fools For Ukes” tickets available Monday April 1 at noon until Tuesday April 2 at noon.

After the Fools For Ukes sale, the performers will be announced and Early Bird ticket sales will open either May 1 or June 1.

We plan to have NJUF merchandise available on Cafe Press.
