Hello Friends,
Julie is suffering horribly from vertigo so I will have to miss the party tonight (and quite possibly need to bow out of my part in Chorus Song Night as well).
We had a nice, though small, workshop with Ronstadt Generations this month. The Ronstadts made $200 and it was revenue neutral for the FP. Our next event will be a day of workshops with Ukulele artist Li’l Rev on March 1st.
For the year,
We put on five events with an overall loss for the year of $278.95. Two House Concerts, one Special Concert at The Minstrel, one Ukulele Festival and one workshop.
I would attribute the loss to Uke New Jersey! being a first-year event and my inexperience at the position. I expect us to show a profit next year as well as holding some fund-raising events for other organizations.
I would like to thank all of the volunteers that stepped up to make our events so successful this year, and in particular, Pam Robinson for keeping my head on fairly straight and being the absolute soul of efficiency and organization. Also, special thanks to the Publicity and communications committees for their outstanding work promoting our events.
Have fun tonight and I’ll see the new Board in January.
Thanks,
Scooter
