Thought I had a new website volunteer, unfortunately it fell thru. John Lamb, the FP webmaster has informed me that current committee will help out with the required web updates until an additional volunteer steps forward.
The search for and negotations with performers and instructors has begun.

Folk Project Holiday Benefit Concert

Wow!! It was an outstanding concert and a wonderful time was had by all.
Thanks to all the performers: The Kitchen Girls: Rachel Streich, Katie Weiss & Jill Lagerstrom; The Mother Pluckers: Beth Bachmann & Jennifer Bross; The One Uke Wonders: Beth Bachmann, Kevin Coughlin, Mike Sagurton & Bob Kammer; Martin Swinger & Amy Kucharik; The Poorhouse Pickers: Bob Cole, Marvin Perkins & FiL Wisneski; ELFIsH! (aka: Dennis Mc Donough) and Chrissy Roberts.
Musically the event covered everything from an old timey Christmas, thru traditional Christmas songs, and all the way to an Elvis impersonator singing traditional songs in Elvis’s unique style.
Thanks to the MC Master Elf and the MandoElves - Bob McNally, Susan Lembo & Jenny Glenn. And to our Chorus leader Andrew Dunn.
A Big Thank You to all the volunteers: John Mahon, Bob Safranek, Ken Brody, Bill Dodds, Vicki Lederman, Alex Adams, Joan Sullivan, Ted ,Lori Falco, Alicia Weimer, Rich Leister, Cathy Ballard, Bill Cox, Jerry Mandelbaum, Debbie Burke, Judy Storey, John Kucharik, and Bill Henderson. You all did an amazing job, I could not have pulled this event off without you.
To celebrate the holiday season we had 133 people in attendance.
Representing folks from the Folk Project, the Morristown Uke Jam, the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship along with a scattering from Swingin’
Tern and and the general public.
Most of the attendees went home with a holiday gift of several CDs, courtesy of WFDUs Ron Olesco via the Sanctuary Concerts Series.
Financially, we raised over $1,500.00 for the The Fellowship.
I’d say we done good.
