Festival

Greetings from Festville,

All continues to move along very well for the Spring Festival.

• We have begun registration, which will continue in waves from now to early April. Right now we are registering those who reserved private rooms. Around March 18, we will open to the rest of the pre-reg list up to our 180 maximum. By April 1 we will open any remaining spots to our waiting list (which now numbers over 40).

• Elizabeth has assumed Registrar duties. Yahoo!

• We have a draft workshop schedule and are happy to share with anyone who would like to review and provide input. We've already shared with the group who participated in our planning session, and are happy for additional feedback.

• Our family initiative has been a success, with 14 young children and 22 teens pre-registered! Now, we ask for a collective cross of fingers that all the families actually register.

• Pat Brangs is managing scholarships, staff and volunteer positions.

• Laura Hertz signed on as Food Coordinator.

• We've added an option on the registration form for people to donate to our scholarship fund. This is a nice way for the community to support members in need.

Fall Festival

• Date is set for Columbus Weekend - October 5-7

• We're starting to shop for performer. We've collected all suggestions from prior surveys and individual requests. We are combing festivals and other venues for new, exciting talent. Open to suggestions, as always.
