As Lori has reported in her "constant contact" report, we are finally doing something about it.
We (really Lori -- Thanks, Lori!) sent out 169 emails to people whose membership had expired in the last 12 months. Some people have multiple
email addresses, so this represents about 150 separate individuals.
So far, about a dozen renewals have come in via PayPal. If we get another dozen via paper-mail, we'll be back up to November levels.
Next month, I'll have learned the ropes and be able to do it myself.
Near the end of February, I'll hit folks whose membership expired between 24 and 12 months ago. Then I'll start a regular monthly regimen of everyone who expired in the last month.
We'll see...
