Chairperson’s Report – Paul Fisher
E-Comm, the Web Team, Facebook and YouTube have continued to be busy. Thank you all!
Paul is no longer looking for a replacement as chairperson. Nancy Beyer has stepped up and been accepted by the Nominating Committee. She will be confirmed at next month’s Membership Meeting and Paul will assist in the transition! Thank you, Nancy.
Many thanks to those who have continued to prepare documents, make posts of our events, and email on behalf of Folk Project Publicity.
Subcommittee Reports
Merchandise Acting Chair – Paul Fisher.
We still need a merch owner, to keep track of our small inventory and maybe organize a new t-shirt design.

October was a very quiet month involving routine maintenance and a bit of work on the S863 project. Most of the effort went into keeping the Stayaway site updated as new shows were booked and helping to solve a perceived problem before the Stu Fuchs concert that resolved itself once the program went live. I helped Jeff Canter with an issue he had reading email. I also helped with the Folk Project response to S863 with minor tweaks to the landing page to which people are directed from various appeal letters, and with some suggested improvements on the wording of those appeal letters..

I am keeping busy contacting performers for fresh interviews and music. We’ve gotten some excellent performances on the show and interviews that I believe bring value to our members. I have feelers out to additional performers, and I will announce them on the show as I get them confirmed.
This month’s report:
The channel got 230 views in the last 28 days. (80 more than usual.)
Watch-time was 42.8 hours. (273% increase)
We obtained seven new subscribers bringing the total to 215. This is nearly double the base we had before my working on the Folk Project Video channel.
About 64% of our viewers are not subscribers. I am urging all viewers to subscribe. Turning that number around will significantly enhance viewership.
I am posting information on our Facebook page in an attempt to gain more viewers.
The October 25th show featured Circle Round the Sun, consisting of 5 members of the Folk Project. We had a great chat, and they provided some terrific songs. I have an interview with Dave Vargo in the works. I am just waiting on a day and time that he has available. I also sent an invite to Stephen Benson and have high hopes of getting a positive response. Stephen provided a video (very political and partisan) that aired at the start of the show with the Circle Round the Sun interview, so he may be amenable to joining me.
I am still looking for someone to assist with various tasks permanently. I have one acquaintance who has been of assistance, but he doesn’t want to get deeply involved. I will continue to post a cry for help in our newsletters.
