Subject: 2015 July Internal Affairs Report
The June evening of Music at Mario's Restaurant in Randolph was wonderful(if I do say so myself)! It appears that the glitches that were widely experienced in August of 2013 with the location/directions have been conquered and no significant reports of difficulty finding this party were reported to me. The restaurant also made good on their promise to stay open late enough for us this time. Mike and I plan to host another EoM there again next year.
The 4th of July party at the Roffmans' place was also a terrific success despite the weather's attempt to scare everyone away. It was pouring all morning and soggy right up until the party started at 2:00 when the sun came out in full force. Much appreciation is due to all the people who volunteered to arrive early for preparation and those folks who were so very helpful during the event as well. A special thanks to the Roffmans for sharing their home with all of us.
The July Evening of Music will be at the Wilensky/Trontell home in Whitehouse.
The August Evening of Music will take place at the Blairstown home of Dave and Ann Marie Schwartz. Dave will be doing a repeat performance of his sheep herding demonstration starting at 7:00 PM. I wasn't able to attend last July when the EoM was held there, but I had heard many reports of a great gathering so I am looking forward to hearing more again this year. Unfortunately, I will have to miss this one also. Anyone on the Board who plans to attend the August EoM and wouldn't mind taking some notes for me, please message me privately. Thanks very much.
