We taped two good shows in May:
567) 5/20/13 The Long Hill String Band - Central NJ group that consists of six players - banjo, mountain dulcimer, guitar, mandolin, fiddle, and upright bass. The group has been active for about 12 years, playing Old Timey favorites at fairs, farms, community events, local Grange gatherings, parties, museums, and even clubs; focuses its talents on nineteenth and early twentieth century tunes in a smattering of different styles. Although the lineup of musicians changes occasionally, the spirit of the music has been consistent throughout the band's existence. www.thelonghillstringband.com
568) 5/20/13 Wool & Grant – Two veteran singer/songwriters with a mutual passion for songs, stories, harmonies and guitars. Bev Grant and Ina May Wool create a musical alchemy of fire and feistiness, wisdom and wit, rocking clear-eyed political songs along with a window on to their travels -- on the road and around the heart". www.WoolGrant.com
