Dear FP Board,
Music - Jim Gartner played for Memory Cafe in November.
Good news spreads, and I received a request from The Gathering Place in Summit, which a Memory Cafe in Christ Church in Summit. I’ll be sending out a request for FP musicians shortly.
Get well cards were sent to Jean Scully and Peter Spenser.
Chris Riemer had let me know about Peter Spenser's recent heart surgery.
Obviously I’m not clairvoyant, so if you hear about someone who you think should receive a card from the Folk Project, please let me know.
Respectfully yours,
Patricia Brangs

Dear Fellow Board Members,
Musically we’ve had a lovely year.
Many Folk Project musicians shared their talents with Memory Cafe in Morris Plains, including Carolyn Messina, Ken Galipeau, Darrell and Mary Courtley, & Jim Gartner.
I recently received a request from The Gathering Place which is a Memory Cafe in Summit. I’ll be soliciting some FP musicians to play for them. I’m hoping that the Summit location will be more convenient for some people.
Other gigs brokered by Community Services during 2018 include the Poorhouse Pickers at Hillsborough Library, Ken Galipeau at a summer camp in Randolph (He got rave reviews - something like Ken was exactly what she’s been looking for. And Frank Sole was connected with a brand new music school who was looking for a guitar teacher.
Cardwise, there was a lot of loss and Get Wells. Condolence cards were sent to Vicki Lederman, Ken Galipeau, Judy Hagen, Grover Kemble, Jim Gartner, and most recently Mike Del Vecchio, Gloria Friedman, and Alison Boardman Goessling.
Congratulations card to Mr. & Mrs. Chris Riemer.
Get well to Carolyn Messina, Peter Spencer and Jean Scully.
Respectfully submitted,
Patricia Brangs
