SWINGIN' TERN

The Swingin' Tern Committee Report for May 7:

The success of April was orchestrated by our booker, Suzanne Patnaude. Also key was Doug Heacock's promotion with videos and Facebook postings.

We had two dances, one of which was long planned, and the month's net income exceeded $1100.

On April 6--for the first time in history--Swingin' Tern held an afternoon/evening dance, featuring Perpetual e-Motion and Bob Isaacs. Net income for the dance was $1350. Over 100 dancers attended in the afternoon and over 160 in the evening.

On April 20 we held the Rock 'n' Reel. We lost somewhat over $200 largely because of the competition from NEFFA, a New England dance/folk festival.

More is coming in the future. We will keep you apprised.
