THE MOTION:
•The Folk Project allow indoor events in homes with up to 25 vaccinated people present until the State announces an increase or decrease to its indoor guidelines for such events.
THE BACKGROUND:
CDC Guidlines dated 4/2/21:
The link is: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/fully-vaccinated.html
“If you’ve been fully vaccinated, you can gather indoors with fully vaccinated people without wearing a mask or staying 6 feet apart.”
NJ Guidelines dated 4/5/21:
The link is: https://www.nj.gov/health/cd/documents/topics/NCOV/Guidance%20Fully%20Vaccinated.pdf
•“Private spaces are defined as a home or personal residence that is not a healthcare facility or institution.”
•“Indoor visits between fully vaccinated persons:
Indoor visits between fully vaccinated people who do not wear masks or physically distance from one another are likely low risk. CDC recommends that fully vaccinated persons can visit with other fully vaccinated people in private settings indoors without wearing masks or physical distancing.”
SOME PROCEDURES:
•Before an event, all attendees and staff must present a proof of vaccination - 2 shots + 2 weeks - prior to the event.
•Before the event, all attendees must acknowledge this New Jersey statement of risk:
“Though the risk of disease may be minimal to the fully vaccinated person themselves, they should be mindful of their potential risk of transmitting the virus to others if they become infected, especially if they are visiting with unvaccinated people at increased risk for or who have unvaccinated people at increased risk for severe disease in their own households.”
Assuming the motion passes, we will begin streaming some House Concerts on Friday nights. These concerts will be called "Troubadour at Home" and will cease once the Troubadour MUF concerts go live.
Respectfully submitted,
Mark Schaffer
