A condolence card was sent to Joe Petrozziello on the death of his Father
A condolence card was sent to Doris Pertz Woolf on the death of her husband Gerry.
I received an email from the Verona congregation that hired Eddie Roffman to play music for their Friday night services. Eddie had to change his whole set list on the spot because they were hoping for children and there were none. Eddie accomplished this without missing a beat and the evening was enjoyed be everyone there.
Folkies Kathy Moser and Ken Galipeau saved the spiritual day by providing uplifting audience engaging music for a MUF workshop this past Saturday.
The Audubon May Day event is heating up. Three groups/musicians that played last year will play again: Circle Round the Sun (Jay Wilensky and Marie Trontell), Tom Picard and Kathy Moser. They will be joined by the Fabulous Furry Harmonica Brothers – Ralph Litwin and Al Podber. Audubon recently asked for promo material for each of the musicians and asked that we mention May Day on our website, etc. I sent Liz upcoming Gigs information and I will mention it on our Facebook page. I purchased a vinyl banner online that has our name and our website. I will bring a copy of the proof to the meeting. That way I don’t need to worry about the wind and rain.
Wayne Day, 2011 plans are jelling. There will be two FP bands (Lagan’s Love and the Big Boogie Band with Mark, Dave Kleiner, etc. etc.) Mark is gathering the musical troops from Israel. We will need to borrow and transport the sound system. I may purchase a sturdy pop-up canopy and use the big banner as well as the new vinyl banner.
Respectfully submitted,
