Gary Pratt thanked the people who reached out to Joyce and him on the death of his mother. They attended the funeral on Zoom. On the day of her funeral, his father entered hospice. His parents had been married for 67 years.
Mike Agranoff shared pictures of his house with what looked like 3 feet of water after the storm. Jean Scully added, as a realter, she would never try to sell his house. Mike said that he planned to die there (in about 40 years).
Peggy Karr is still medicated to the point that she was sorry she could not attend the Troubadour concert, but she is exercising and recovering.
Mark Schaffer reported that he and Robin went up to Lake George for vacation and rented a hotel next to a friend's campsite, and spent the days at the hotel pool and the nights making music at the campsite. While there, they ran into the Cowboy singer, Ernie Sites and his wife who joined them making music. Since Robin couldn't fly, they drove from Lake George to Denver where they saw their two youngest grandsons (2 1/2 years, and 3 months) and had a great time. They are also starting major construction on the Great Room. He also reported that his daughter-in-law (also named Robin) performed a 30 hour shift as an EMT at Middlesex County, and was personally thanked by President Biden.
George Otto got 1-2 inches of water in his basement, which caused him to have to do some bailing.
Jean Scully's son Von and his wife Jenna had to be evacuated from their house because it became an island during Ida. She was also sorry to report that she lost her 21 year old cat, leaving her 14 year old cat as a very sad only cat.
Elizabeth Lachowicz is in Portsmouth New Hampshire on a business trip, which she is following with a personal trip to Olgonquit (sp?) Maine where she will meet up with her friend and her nephew and his family. She also sends regards from her son, who is on deployment in Japan.
