OLD BUSINESS
S863 Committee update
California Assembly Bill 5 that changed the independent contractor status for app-based drivers (but not other independent contractors) to employees was overturned by referendum (drivers kept their independent contractor status), which may cause issues with the New Jersey legislation. The consensus of the Board is that it will probably not affect New Jersey, and in the current climate, the New Jersey legislation may not be scheduled.
Planning for December meeting(s)
Discussion was held as to whether or not to add a tentative date for an additional meeting in December. Most board members felt it was unnecessary. See Motions Made.

The Post Office would also photograph first class mail and send the photographs to a designated recipient. Further contact with the Post Office will be handled by Treasurer Peggy Karr.
